Jesse Marsh and Aliyah Heaven mined our only individual medals. Jesse earned his Bronze in the 15 -17 male category in the 100m butterfly. Aliyah got hers swimming her way to a Bronze in a highly competitive 11 -12 female category in the 50m free.

Congrats to our Tornadoes 12

IMG 20180330 WA0004These twelve swimmers had a blast this past weekend competing at the Carifta Swimming Championships, Kingston Jamaica.

Over the four days they produced personal bests, earned medals, broke Carifta and National records.

An awesome experience for all of them. Congrats Team - coaches, parents, supporters and swimmers.

You did us proud.

Tornadoes Water Polo Winners

An exciting weekend of Carifta Water Polo Championships came to an end on Sunday March 18th.

Joel Parnell  (Under 19 Captain), Nicholas Donaldson and Zachary Jackson Blaine  (Under 14 and 16) were in heavy rotation in the pool this weekend.

Our team members were victorious and received their medals in the closing ceremony . Under 19 boys, Under 14 and 16 silver.

Congrats to the swimmers and their parents.

Thanks to all the supporters who came out to watch and cheer on the games this weekend.

Don't forget that swimming begins on March 31 and promises to be just as exciting.

Congrats to our Carifta Swimmers

IMG 20180315 WA0018Tornadoes Swim Club has done it again. A record number of our club swimmers have been named to the Carifta 2018 swim team. Ten locally based swimmers and two foreign based swimmers. Making Tornadoes the best club not only in Jamaica but possibly the Caribbean with twelve swimmers named to the national team. Head Coach Wendy Lee and her coaching team are proud of this achievement.

The following swimmers are representing Team Jamaica this coming Easter weekend -
11-12 Aliyah Heaven, Ireland Hunter, Isabella Sierra, Joshua Mair and Adrian Balfour.
13-14 Amore Hunter, Sabrina Lyn and Nathaniel Thomas
15-17 Adrian Grant, Jordan Hines Sean Douglas Gooden Jesse Marsh

First timers are Amore Aliyah Ireland Joshua and Adrian. These twelve swimmers bring experience and the Tornadoes spirit of Excellence Perseverance and Teamwork to the championship in two weeks.
