The penultimate day of the 2019 CARIFTA Championships being held in Barbados proved to be another good one for Team Jamaica.The nation was in second place with 565 points and 46 medals 15 Gold 20 Silver 11 Bronze. The day was highlighted by Championship record swims by Kokolo Foster and Sabrina Lyn as well the Golden hot streak in the relays by the young ladies in the 15-17 age group.
Kokolo Foster grabbed the number one seed from the morning heats with a new PB, national age group record and Championship record. Kokolo was already the fastest 11-12 swimmer that Jamaica had ever produced with a national mark of 35.43 at age group champs.
