We had an awesome showing at the most recently concluded CCCAN Swimming Championship in Aruba. Eleven of our swimmers joined forces and combined with the 26 swimmers strong National Team that showed our prowess in the water. Our team Jamaica standings shows our combined team score -  we placed 7th - broken down on the girls side we were a consistent 3rd in the 11-12 and 13-14 category and overall 5th in the 15 -17 age groups.

On the boys side 11-12 we were 4th, 13-14  placing 9th and 15-17 we tied 6th with home team Aruba. Team Jamaica amassed 393.5 points and Jesse and Sabrina made Bcuts for YOG (Youth Olympic Games) and Sabrina made a Bcut for Pan Am Games.

In the Open Water results our Daniel Mair placed 2nd in the 12-13 age group in a silver placing time of 48:11:73 in the 3K swim - we placed 2nd overall.
